AUBURN — Police are investigating reported gunfire Saturday night on Main Street in Auburn, according to officials.
At about 8:30 p.m., police detectives had a section of Main Street, near Vine Street, blocked to traffic as investigators marked spent shell casings in the street and damage to a building.

The Auburn Police Department wrote in a Facebook post Sunday morning that witnesses reported a group of teenagers had a gun and shots had been fired.
There were no injuries due to the gunfire, police said, and the group fled the area before officers arrived.
Detectives were working Sunday to identify those involved in the gunfire, according to officials.
