DEAR SUN SPOTS: If anyone in the vicinity of Howard Street in Mexico found a Duluth Trading Co. box had been left at your front door Thursday, Dec. 12, it was delivered to the wrong address by FedEx and I would very much appreciate hearing from you.

Please call me at 207-369-0418 and leave a message, and I will gratefully arrange to have it picked up.

I have found FedEx customer service to be pretty much nonexistent. The company insists the package was left where they put my deliveries, but the photograph taken by the driver shows that it was not delivered to my house.–Carol, Mexico

ANSWER: I have never had an issue with getting help from FedEx, and I am sorry this is happening to you. Call 1-800-GoFedEx (1-800-463-3339) again or go to the web site, log in (or create an account) and type in your tracking number. The information is usually found when you get an order confirmation email from the company where you purchased your merchandise. Then lodge a complaint.

You can also track your order or contact customer service at Duluth Trading Co. through its website — www.duluthtrading.com/content/customer-service?feature=ftcs — or call 1-866-300-9719 and the company should be able to help with your missing package. It is the company’s responsibility to see that you receive what you have oredred. You can opt to have the item resent or receive a refund.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I cannot thank you enough for the help you have given me when I have needed somewhere to turn.

Will AARP assist with tax returns this year, as it has in the past? If so, do you have a telephone number to make an appointment?—Gene, Lewiston

ANSWER: I am sure AARP will be assisting folks with their tax returns, but it is too early for that information to be disclosed. I am always notified as soon as it is available. This is usually in early February, so get your paperwork together so you are ready. I will let you know what I learn.
