Ava Beaudin, Gray-New Gloucester senior: Beaudin finished in the top five in giant slalom and op 10 in slalom at last winter’s WMC championships. At states, she finished seventh in slalom and 10th in giant slalom.

Lily Boulanger, Mountain Valley junior: Last season, Boulanger came in fourth in giant slalom and fifth in the slalom at the Class B championships. She won the giant slalom state title as a freshman.

Gianna DeVivo, Oxford Hills senior: DeVivo had the area’s highest finish, sixth place, in giant slalom at the Class A state meet in February. She also won the KVAC giant slalom title.

Anaya Egge, Edward Little senior: Egge placed fifth in slalom at the Class A championships and was third overall at KVACs.

Brody Farmer, Mt. Blue senior: Farmer finished 10th in giant slalom at the KVAC meet. He’s one of the Cougars’ top returners and will provide a level of experience under new coach Matt Reynolds.

Samantha McPhail, Oxford Hills junior: McPhail came in 15th in giant slalom at the KVAC championships. Additionally, she consistently finished in the top 20 during regular-season meets and earned a spot on the 2023-24 Sun Journal All-Region team.

Ashley Nelson, Spruce Mountain sophomore: As a freshman, Nelson had two top-five finishes at MVCs: third in slalom and fifth in giant slalom. She placed fifth in giant slalom at states.

Maddie Ranger, Edward Little junior: Ranger was named to the Sun Journal’s All-Region second team last winter. She finished eighth in giant slalom at KVACs.

Sophie Simard, Leavitt senior: Simard tallied several top finishes at regular-season meets last winter and made the Sun Journal’s All-Region team. She placed fifth in slalom and seventh in giant slalom at KVACs.

Kai Thistle, Edward Little senior: Thistle was named to the KVAC first team and will be one of the top scorers for the Red Eddies, who lost several skiers to graduation. He placed 11th overall at the KVAC championships at Titcomb Mountain, helping the Edward Little boys claim a top-three finish.
