Beverly “Bev” Lefebvre

FARMINGTON – Beverly “Bev” Lefebvre (Hutchins) passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Dec. 14, 2024, as the Lord called her into eternal life. She was born in Farmington on Aug. 15, 1940, to the late Milton and Beatrice Hutchins (Getchell). As a child, she grew up with three sisters and one brother. They shared many memories together and she cherished her relationships with each of them deeply. She attended Farmington High School and later graduated as a registered nurse from Central Maine General Hospital in Lewiston. She served as a dedicated nurse in many facilities and provided compassionate care to all that she encountered. She was a devoted member of the Henderson Memorial Baptist church, sharing her faith with others and lived with Christ in her heart.

Bev met the love of her life Theodore “Ted” Lefebvre, and they married on May 5, 1963. They went on to have three children, Anthony “Tony”, Michele “Shelly”, and Todd. The family grew, sharing love among nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Bev will be remembered most for her smile that lit up a room and contagious laugh. She had a warm, kind, and generous heart. Providing a loving, safe, and welcoming home to all. Joyfully humming a tune and singing Christmas music all year round. She devoted her life to the Lord being a dedicated member of the choir, Sunday school, and faithful philanthropy. She started each day doing her daily devotions and praying for those she loved. A few of her favorite things included bird watching, recycling, puzzles, reading, Christmas, and ice-cream. Above all, she was most happy while spending time with family. Bev made a difference in the lives of many and will be missed by her friends and family.

Bev is survived by her children, Anthony “Tony” (Denise) Lefebvre of Chesterville, Todd Lefebvre of Farmington; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Constance “Connie” Main, and Larry Hutchins; daughter, Michele Barnett; son in law, Maurice Barnett; and grandsons, Eric Barnett and Eric Wilkins.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to staff at Pinewood Terrace, Edgewood, and Beacon Hospice. You all hold a special place in our hearts for all the love and tender care extended toward Bev and our family during her final journey to heaven.

A Funeral Service will be held Jan. 4, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Henderson Memorial Baptist Church in Farmington, with refreshments to follow in the church dining hall.

Arrangements are under the care of Dan and Scott’s Cremation and Funeral Service, 488 Farmington Falls Road, Farmington, Maine, where memories, photos, and condolences may be shared at dsfuneral.com.
