Daniel J. Talbot

AUBURN – Daniel J. Talbot, 58, of Auburn, passed away at his home on Nov. 18, 2024.

Dan attended school in Auburn and graduated from Edward Little High School. He went on to obtain his B.A. from the University of Maine in Augusta.

He worked at L.L.Bean for over 35 years. Dan was promoted in September of 1997 as a business systems administrator in supply chain. He was working with a software program that allowed him to determine where in the warehouse to place inventory for best access to ship out to customers. During his career at Beans he earned many high attendance for decades.

Dan loved many things, such as music, dancing, board games, the sea, swimming, a good steak and most of all his family. He will be sadly missed.

He was predeceased by his parents, Monique Moody of Minot and Julien Talbot of Lewiston; as well as his sister, Suzanne Talbot of Auburn.

He is survived by his sister, Julie (Talbot) Beaule of Minot; nephews Justin Smith and his wife Jessica and his son Nolan of Minot; and Joseph Dumont and his daughters Ally, Hanna and his son Brady of Auburn. He also leaves behind aunts and uncles Rachel and Carl Akin of Yarmouth, Paul and Sharon Caouette of Waddell, Ariz., Carmen Caouette of Lewiston, Robert and Nancy Caouette of Minot, Michael and Karen Caouette of Poland and Joline and Marcel Chaloux of Lisbon; as well as numerous cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 8 Sacred Heart Place, Auburn. Following Mass, a memorial visitation will be held at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 217 Turner St., Auburn from 12 to 2 p.m.
