What do you do when a beloved pet has died? Do you turn the body over to the veterinarian for disposal? Or do you memorialize your departed companion in your own way?
We know people who have elaborate pet cemeteries in their own backyards, including headstones for their dogs, cats and other critters.
There are people who sport tattoos paying homage to their dead pets. Some create memorial gardens, some like photo collages.
There are all sorts of ways to immortalize a dearly departed pet and we’d like to hear about yours — if you have photos of your memorial, all
the better. It doesn’t matter what kind of pet you’re remembering, either. Rodents, lizards, fish or snakes, it’s all good to us.
Send your pet remembrances to staff writer Mark LaFlamme at [email protected].
