JAY — Three Spruce Mountain schools – two in Jay and one in Livermore – held holiday concerts last week in the gym at Spruce Mountain Middle School in Jay.

The elementary school concert on Dec. 16 first featured performances by each of the three grades – third, fourth and fifth. The three grades then joined together to sing “Rudolf, the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”
On Dec. 17 the middle school chorus took center stage to begin the concert. Afterwards the seventh/eighth grade band performed and the evening ended with the sixth grade band joining the older band for a few songs.

Students from the primary school in Livermore were in the spotlight on Dec. 18. Kindergarten students performed, then were released to their parents to watch the remainder of the concert as older siblings performed or go home. First grade students were next with the second graders ending the concert.
