ANDROSCOGGIN COUNTY — Several warming centers in Lewiston and Auburn are open to the public, according to officials.
In Auburn, the Norway Savings Bank Arena at 985 Turner St. is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The Auburn Public Library at 49 Spring St. is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Maine Emergency Management Agency, Lewiston has three warming centers: Trinity Jubilee Center at 247 Bates St. is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Saturday. New Beginnings at 436 Main St. is open for those ages 18 to 24 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. all week.
The new city of Lewiston warming center at 551 Lincoln St. is open from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. all week.
Additionally, Ricker Memorial Library at 1211 Main St. in Poland is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
