POLAND — Regional School Unit 16 directors entered a $43,003 agreement with Building Infrastructure Management Solutions to repair the Minot Consolidated School boiler system, according to a school district news release.
The company will perform the work and has agreed to defer the payment until July 1, when the 2026 fiscal year capital improvement plan goes into effect.
“The boiler repairs are only a small portion of the overall HVAC assessment,” the release said. “This fall, when the application process for the school revolving renovation fund opens, we will also address improvements to the heat distribution system and the inadequate ventilation at Minot.”
Superintendent Amy Hediger was not available Tuesday to provide information on when work will begin.
