SOUTH PARIS – On Jan. 20, 2025, with her loving sisters by her side, Julie Ann Millett, 65, closed those beautiful blue eyes and passed from this life. Julie was born on Nov. 10, 1959 in Chittenden, Vt., to the late Curtis and Irene Millett. Julie made her home with her parents until her mother’s death in 1998 and then resided in Waterford with her sister Jennifer and her family until 2010, at which time she became a resident of The Progress Center.
Affectionately know as Ms. Julie or Jules by friends and as Jujubeans by her sisters, Julie lived a life full of wonderful moments, memories that span her lifetime. A lover of ladybugs, penguins, sunshine and warm weather, Julie never passed up a trip to McDonalds, Walmart or to pick up a coffee from Dunkin Donuts (Iced Moca, with cream and sugar). She loved babies, being silly and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She had the purest heart and if you were loved by Julie, you will never know a truer love, ever.
Julie left her mark on every person she came across, leaving a legacy of laughter and love beyond measure. We are all better for having had her in our lives. She will be so missed.
She leaves behind her loving family, including sisters Laurie (Shawn) Nelson of Calhoun, Ga., and Jennifer (Steve) St. Pierre, of Waterford; sister-in-law Lavada Peeler of Englewood, Tenn.; aunt Nancy Millett of Waterford; nieces Samantha (Dave) Palmer, Kristina (Steven) Albright, Matthew (Eliza) Ruth, Benjamin (Morgan) Millett, Nathan (Trysten) St. Pierre, Chyanna (Zachary) Millett-Cordwell, Christopher (Tati) St. Pierre; and great-nieces and nephews, Tyson, Tucker, Jackson, Raelynn, Miles, Emma, Charlie, and Cecelia, as well as an extended family of cousins in Maine and Vermont. Waiting for her in heaven are her parents, sisters Connie Lebroke and Vickie Millett, brother-in-law Robert Lebroke Sr. and special aunts. uncles and grandparents.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff, especially DSPs, of The Progress Center for their tireless love of Julie, as well as the staff of Stephen’s Hospital for their care in her final days.
