On Tuesday evening, I heard President Trump say he wanted to take the land of the Palestinian people.
At this time, it is necessary and appropriate for the families and loved ones of the deceased to find the bodies of the victims of the war against Gaza, to mourn their dead, and have their homes, hospitals and other institutions rebuilt, by those who have financed their destruction.
This should be done with the same diligence and reverence as this country has done for the Missing in Action in the Vietnam War, and the victims of Sept. 11, 2001.
All the victims and their families are children of God, and part of our human family.
It seems very, very cruel to want to steal their land and their home.
It is time to grieve the loss of God’s children.
