LIVERMORE FALLS — Fees for medical marijuana licenses and electrical permits are among those that will increase April 1.

Selectmen voted Feb. 4 to raise prices, some of which have been in effect since August 2013.

Selectman Jim Long suggested the changes to align more with electrical and other codes.

The biggest increases are for medical cannabis. The fee for an initial permit application will go from $250 to $1,500. Retail renewals will be $1,000 and those for manufacturing and cultivation will be $1,500.

Electrical permits will increase from $30 to $40, and special amusement permits from $25 to $35.

The fee for solar energy system permits for less than 3,000 square feet and/or generating less than 20kW will remain $50. The fee for medium- and large-scale system permits will increase from $50 to $75 per acre.

The fee for code enforcement review will change from a flat rate of $25 to $25 per hour. The fee for a site plan review, which has no cost, will be charged $50.

The fee for building permit applications remains at $30. The associated fees per square foot for residential, commercial, agricultural and mobile homes will not increase. Also staying the same are fees for change of occupancy, amplifying device permits and mobile food vendor licenses.

The complete fee schedule is available at the Town Office.
