Jeffrey W. Rutter
AUGUSTA – Jeffrey W. Rutter, 74, of Jay, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025, at Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta. He was born on April 16, 1950, in Summit, N.J., the son of Robert C. Rutter and Avery B. (Foster) Rutter.
He attended school at the George Junior Republic School in Freeville, N.Y. and the Ventura Community College in California. He served in the U.S. Army. He married Suzanne Labrie of Jay. She passed away July 9, 2014. He worked as a self-employed computer technician. Jeffrey enjoyed opera and reading fantasy fiction.
He is survived by his brother, Brian Rutter of Oxford, N.J. He was predeceased by his parents; wife Suzanne, and his brother, John Rutter.

At his request there will be no services. Interment Maine Veterans Cemetery, 143 Blue Star Avenue, Augusta, Maine. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine.
