The handwriting is on the wall; we’re in for a bumpy four years with President Trump at the helm.

His cabinet choices are just shots in the dark, with little to no regard about getting a job done, given that qualifications are, for the most part, absent.

When I hear him talk about Canada, Panama Canal, Greenland, and taking over Gaza? None of this makes any sense, but as we all know, Trump likes attention and will say anything to keep the media focused on him, regardless of what he says, right or wrong.

Lest we forget that he’s also not a law-abiding citizen, never was and never will be. I believe that, now that he’s president again and feeling that he’s been given a mandate to do what he campaigned on, he feels he can do whatever he wants, regardless of any laws that may well apply to what he sees as his mandate. Doing it legally would certainly be received more favorably, but doing it his way is raising more ire and dissent than results. This is frustrating for the citizenry as well as the politicians.

For what it’s worth, I ask the president to try to put a little more thought into what he says and does. He needs to tone down his “I’m the boss” attitude.

Need I remind him that we, the people, are his boss and that he needs to remember that he is there for us, not just for him.
