Gov. Janet Mills stood up to a bully when the president tried to intimidate her into submission about student athlete discrimination.
I am so proud of our governor.
Conversely, what kind of person puts a student child’s picture on social media for the purpose of ridicule? Unfortunately, my representative, Laurel Libby, is that kind of person. She is already the poster child for big out-of-state dollars that voters in Maine overwhelmingly voted to ban last year with her PAC, Dinner Table.
I am ashamed of my representative.
Bullying fellow politicians and/or publicly ridiculing children should not be how our politicians, or anyone should behave.
We are a civil society and must behave accordingly.
