BETHEL – Mary Jane Gaudreau left this earth early in the morning of Feb. 22, 2025.

She was born July 18, 1937 in Berlin, N.H., the daughter of James A. and Margureittea (Young) Spinney. She married Harold “Buster” Gaudreau June 14, 1958.

She attended grade schools in Bethel and graduated from the new Cresent Park School, then graduated from Gould Academy in 1956 and Gorham State Teachers College with the class of 1961.

Mary Jane began her teaching career in S.A.D. #44 at Ethel Bisbee School and taught 1st grade there for 20 years. She also taught at Woodstock, Waterford and Mexico for a total of 25 years. She later worked 17 years at Maine Line Products.

She enjoyed puzzles, word and number games, woodworking, quilting, family and friends

Survivors include sons Geoffrey and wife Julie, Tom and wife Diane, David, Bradley and wife Carolyn; grandchildren Maegan, Precious Ryan, Joshua, Brandon, Celesse, Andrea, Emily, Alex and Jacob; great-grandchildren Khloe, Gavin, Grace, Bentley, Elsie, Ayden, Hanna and Sawyer.

She was predeceased by her husband, Buster, in 2014; and her daughter, Betsy in 2004 and her daughter-in-law, Dale; and her furkids Skipper, and Cabella.

A memorial service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, North Road, Bethel on May 17 at 11 a.m.
