The Maine Mariners opened a two-goal lead, but Adirondack scored the next four goals and held on for a 4-3 ECHL victory over Maine on Saturday night at Cross Insurance Arena in Portland.
Kaleb Ergang, Josh Filmon and Dylan Wendt each had a goal and an assist for Adirondack, while Caden Villegas also scored a goal. Henry Welsch made 27 saves for the Thunder.
For Maine, Wyllum Deveaux, Robert Cronin and James Marooney each scored a goal while goalie Brad Arvanitis made 22 saves in goal.
