After a brief history of taiko drumming and basic techniques, participants in the workshop sang, danced and celebrated the unique spirit of Japanese culture. It was the latest installment of the Movement at the Museum series put on by the Maine MILL. The next free event is scheduled for April 25 from 5-6 p.m. and features Middle Eastern Dance.
