The Maine Mariners loaned forward Jacob Hudson to the Springfield Thunderbird of the AHL on Thursday.
Hudson, 24, signed with Maine as a free agent in the offseason. He made his professional debut last season, playing 13 games for the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL.
This season, Hudson played 61 games for Maine, recording six goals and three assists. He could make his AHL debut Friday when Springfield host the Belleville Senators on Friday.
