The acting commissioner of Social Security decided to target Maine because he believed that Gov. Mills was “being not cordial to” and — according to recent reporting — “disrespected” President Trump. So, the state of Maine should be punished.
I’m on Gov. Mills’ side, and I ask the electorate: Give me one reason to respect Mr. Trump. According to 1 Corinthians, he is without charity, empathy and compassion; a clanging cymbal, a tinkling bell. He disrespects truth, facts, evidence and has a perpetual love relationship with lies. He disrespects our laws, Constitution and citizens. He thinks like a child, speaks like a child and has not left behind childish things. (A man who cannot speak clearly cannot think clearly.)
Even if Mr. Trump might pray every morning, he would still be an immoral and cruel individual. As Jesus said, one will be judged not by what one says or attests to believe in, but by his acts. And by his acts, he is not deserving of respect. Just the opposite.
