Andrew Clements, Edward Little senior midfield: Clements was a dominant force for the Red Eddies last season, finishing with 47 goals, 60 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. His personal best was six goals against KVAC opponent Oxford Hills in the first game of the season.
Kaiden Delano, Oak Hill senior midfield/faceoff: Delano scored 35 goals and tallied 11 assists as a junior. He also won 70% of his faceoffs. Delano will be looked upon to lead the Raiders’ strong, experienced attacking line.
Isaiah Portas, Gray-New Gloucester/Poland junior, defense: Portas was a disrupter on defense last season, tallying 48 ground balls and causing 25 turnovers. He also scored goals in several games, helping push the 26ers to an 8-8 season.
Brock Rancourt, Lewiston senior goalie: Rancourt stopped 62% of the shots on goal (232 of 374) that he faced last season. He’s back in net this season, hoping to help the Blue Devils’ defense contain opposing offenses.
Gage Spier, Oak Hill senior attack: Spier kept the offense moving for the Raiders last year by racking up 27 goals and 53 assists. Alongside a strong senior line, he’ll again be a dual threat, either scoring or finding the best outlet for a pass.
