DEAR SUN SPOTS: Get ready to immerse yourself in the world of model railroads at the Great Falls Model Railroad Club Train Show at Mount Ararat High School, 68 Eagles Way, in Topsham. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26.
With over 100 tables featuring new and used trains, tracks, buildings, books, and more, you’ll find something for every model train enthusiast. From N to HO, S, O, and G scales, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. — Bryn, no town
Explore incredible displays and operating layouts that bring miniature trains to life and discover hidden gems from local and visiting dealers. Enjoy free parking, handicap accessibility, and mouthwatering food while you explore. Admission is $5 per person. The cost for children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Applewald Farm at 525 Huntington Hill Road in Litchfield is again collecting donations of formal wear, street clothes, wigs, jewelry and new makeup for the Rainbow Ball to be held the first weekend in May.
Following that we will set up our farm stand with all the amazing surplus for anyone in the community who could use these items. Last year was so much fun with hundreds of people trying on and choosing free items that gave them joy.
