WEST PARIS — The monthly meeting of the Finnish-American Heritage Society of Maine will be held at the FinnAm Center at 8 Maple Street in West Paris at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. A brief business meeting will be followed by a presentation of the Finnish-American Heritage Society’s production of “The Immigrants.” This well-received show was performed and recorded at the West Paris Grange Hall on September 27, 1990. CASCO — The Casco Village Church, United Church of Christ, is hosting the annual “Open Air Fair/Flea Market on Saturday, July 12, from 8-1 p.m., and we would love to have you join us! PARIS — The Paris Public Library is hosting a used book sale downstairs at the Deering Memorial Community Center on Saturday, May 31, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale will feature thousands of titles in good to excellent condition, covering a broad range of interests and ages. There will also be DVDs and some music CDs for sale. Shoppers are just asked to make a donation of their choice for the items they select from the sale. Proceeds from the sale are used to purchase children’s books for the library’s collection.
