RANGELEY — The Rangeley Lakes Regional School Class of 2025 will graduate on Saturday, June 7, at 1 p.m. in the school gymnasium. Seniors recently responded to a varied list of questions in an effort to get to know them, their plans and their dreams. In keeping with tradition, seniors could answer, or not, as they saw fit.

The class is a diverse group of young adults. Their education plans include pursuing degrees in criminal justice, psychology and business. They aspire work in the fields of nursing, dentistry, teaching and construction. Like many young adults, they enjoying playing video games and hanging out with their friends. They also like dirt biking, hunting, golfing, skiing and coaching.

They are looking forward to traveling the world, motorcycling across the United States and staying local. Topping the bucket list of some graduates are thrilling adventures such as skydiving and cage swimming with sharks.

Based on their answers, one thing that is agreed on is the connection and community they experienced at RLRS.

If you could live in any other country other than the United States, where would you live and why? Switzerland – it’s super pretty and has a high standard of living.

What is at the top of your bucket list? To play TPC Sawgrass.

If you could choose a superpower, what would you pick? The ability to read minds.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time? Play golf, play video games, watch movies, and read.

What kind of music, movies, or books do you enjoy? Music – 80’s rock, Movies – Tarantino’s, Books – Fantasies

What are your plans after graduation? University of New England for nursing

Who do you want to give thanks to? I want to thank my parents for supporting me all throughout my time in school.

What kind of music, movies, or books do you enjoy? I enjoy reality tv, specifically all of the “Real Housewives”. I enjoy rom-coms and action movies as well.

What part of the RLRS experience do you value the most? Traveling to Costa Rica with my Spanish class. I value being able to travel and experience new things so this was fun for me.

What is your favorite school lunch menu item? My favorite school menu item isn’t from lunch, but from breakfast, it’s the make your own bagel option. Every morning I make a bagel extra toasted with chive and onion cream cheese.

If you could choose a superpower, what would you pick? I would choose to be able to read minds, I think it would be cool to know exactly what people are thinking.

What advice do you have for the Class of 2026? Take care of yourself and your peers. Value your time together.

What is at the top of your bucket list? I would put traveling to help communities without health care at the top of my bucket list. As a nurse, I would like to help the people who need it.

If you could witness any event from history, what would it be? I would want to be on Apollo Eleven and be one of the first people on the moon.

What skill or talent do you wish you could master? I would love to become a master chef and be able to cook whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted.

Describe yourself in 3 words: I would describe myself as caring, honest, and dependable.

What are you plans after graduation? After graduation, I plan on attending Clemson University while studying biology. After I get my bachelor’s degree, I intend to join the air force while finishing my last four years at a dental school.

Who do you want to give thanks to? I want to give thanks to my mom, dad, and brothers. I also would like to thank Kayla Alexander, Katie Nichols, the Stokes family, and the entire Quimby family.

Who inspires you? My mom inspires me because she is the strongest and most loyal person I know, with the biggest heart. She always puts others before herself but also doesn’t let people disrespect her or her family. I want to be just like my momma.

What is you favorite school lunch menu item? My favorite school lunch is cheese pizza on Fridays or the foot long hot dogs.

What advice do you have for the Class of 2026? Be a good person, a good friend, and figure out who you are. Surround yourself with people that are genuine, because those are the only people you need!

If you could choose a superpower, what would you pick? I’d like to have the ability to teleport.

What world problem would you really like to solve? I want all animals to have good homes. I want to foster dogs in the future so they have a second chance!

What is at the top of your bucket list? The top of my bucket list would be skydiving.

What skill or talent do you wish you could master? I’ve always wanted to be able to solve a rubik’s cube, I never was able to. However I wish I could because that would be cool.

If you could live in any other country other than the United States, where would you live and why? If I could live in any country other than the United States it would probably be Italy. The pasta and pizza would be better.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time? My favorite things to do in my free time would be would be spending time with my friends and family and working at Oquossoc Grocery. I also like to do nothing though, like sitting in my bed all day.

What are your plans after graduation? Attend Tri County Technical College in Pendleton, SC. I plan to transfer to a public university after a full year.

Who inspires you? Why? My sister Abi. She just usually knows what to do.

What are some of your favorite interests outside of school? Traveling, swimming, and being with my friends.

What are your plans after graduation? I am going to college for early childhood education and hope to be a teacher for the little ones in the world

What part of the RLRS experience do you value the most? The close-knit teacher/student relations. It made learning an easier and more fun time

Who do you want to give thanks to? My dad and Nina, who supported me through all the hard decisions and changes the last 3 years have brought. The Abbot family, along with Jess, Eric, and Nana, who were there for me in so many ways. Tayla and the Audette family for being here for me for years and years and having an unwavering, unconditional love.

What world problem would you really like to solve? I want to solve child world hunger. No child should have to worry about the next time they will have access to food.

What advice do you have for the Class of 2026? Take it all in, it’s almost over, and you’ll be done before you know it.

What is at the top of your bucket list? Cage dive with sharks

If you could live in any other country other than the United States, where would you live and why? I would choose to live in Ireland because it is a beautiful country, with fun traditions.

If you could witness any event from history, what would it be? Witnessing a Witch trial.

What one song always puts you in a good mood? “Hotel Room Service” by Pitbull

What is your favorite way to give back or help others? My favorite way to give back is silently. Give someone a little extra change if they are short, help an old person pick up their things they have dropped on the ground, help a peer out with their school work if they are struggling.

What are some of your favorite interests outside of school? I mainly like to play video games and go to the gym, but I’ll occasionally go fishing or skiing.

What are you passionate about? Making cool stuff out of metal.

What kind of music, movies, or books do you enjoy? I listen to all kinds of music, but for movies, I enjoy horror and thrillers. For books, I like fantasy and dystopian the most.

What are your plans after graduation? I plan on working at Saddleback.

What of your accomplishments are you most proud of and why? I am most proud of my academic accomplishments, I have turned my academic career from being a low B student to a consistent A+ student.

What are some of your favorite interests outside of school? I like to solve Rubik’s cubes, juggle, play piano, and do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

What skill or talent do you wish you could master? I wish I could master the piano as it is the skill that I am the worst at.

If you could choose a superpower, what would you pick? If I had a super power I would choose time control.

If you could witness any event from history, what would it be? I would watch the Big Bang

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time? I love to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and, when I’m not training, I like to study techniques I can apply in training.

What are you passionate about? I am very passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I train up to 4 times a week and compete regularly.

What kind of music, movies, or books do you enjoy? I enjoy 80’s music, classic books, and drama/fantasy movies

What world problem would you really like to solve? Require an IQ above 115 to start a podcast, and make podcast equipment much more expensive.

What are your plans after graduation? After graduation, I will go to Bates for a Psych Major and Music Minor, and go to grad school for a PhD in Psychology

If you could live in any other country other than the United States, where would you live and why? If I could live in any other country other than the United States I would live in New Zealand.

What is at the top of your bucket list? Going elk hunting out west is at the top of my bucket list.
