NORWAY — The Friends of Norway Memorial Library will hold used book sales on the corner of Main Street and Greenleaf Avenue this summer. Sales dates and times are Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to noon; Saturday, July 12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, August 9, 9 a.m. until noon. All sales are outside and weather-dependent. They may be canceled or postponed in case of rain.
Books may be donated at Norway Memorial Library, 258 Main Street, Norway, until Friday, June 13. Boxed books can be delivered to the library and left in the side entrance vestibule during library open hours. Gently used hardcover and paperback fiction and nonfiction for adults and children are accepted. Please do not donate encyclopedias, textbooks, Reader’s Digest condensed books, book club editions, magazines, or video and audio products.
Fiction and nonfiction books for adults and children are available at all sales. The July sale is in conjunction with Norway Downtown’s Main Street Day in Norway. The August sale will be a special “fill a bag” sale.
Shoppers may park on Main Street or in the library parking lot off Greenleaf Avenue. The Friends of Norway Memorial Library’s board thanks Laurie Redfield for allowing them to hold the book sales on the lawn of A Life’s Compass, at 7 Greenleaf Avenue.
