Momma Bear

We just love to showcase our black labs, like our sweet Momma Bear. She is two years old, full of energy, and is ready for adventures. Momma Bear enjoys long walks in the sunshine and would make an excellent hiking companion. She very much enjoys walking our trails, finding sticks along the way, and just enjoying the sunshine.

She has been working hard on leash manners, basic commands, and impulse control with our dedicated K9 staff. Momma has done well with training and is food-motivated and eager to learn. Momma Bear is dog selective, she may do well in a home with another dog with proper introduction and continued training. We are unsure of her history with children, but think she would do well in a home with older kids. She is crate and house trained. If you think Momma Bear would be a good fit for you and your family, she is eagerly waiting to meet you!

DJ

They say tuxedo cats have very distinct personalities. They are known to be the huskies of the cat world. They also tend to be mischievous and secret geniuses. Who knows for sure if that is true, but our girl DJ comes with a funny personality. She has always been so sweet to us when she came in as a stray. She can be nervous meeting new people, but she warms up quite quickly. We believe DJ is around 2 years old. She was pregnant when she arrived at our shelter, but had just one baby. DJ is cat-friendly and would probably do just fine in a home with a calm dog. She would most definitely prefer a home with older children, since loud noises can be a little scary. DJ is searching for a human companion; she loves attention and will greet you coming home.
