DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’d like the thank the Sun Spotter who was so generous with the gift from her rhubarb patch (May 22 Sun Spots). She gave me enough rhubarb to share with my daughter and another friend, plus plenty to make baked goods for my 90-year-old friend and a granddaughter, too.

While chatting with this sweet lady, we discovered we both have upcoming birthdays so we are getting together to celebrate our big days. Talk about a bonus! This column has never failed me when I have a request. Now, on to the baking!

ANSWER: I love these happy little stories. Keep up the good work, Sun Spotters!
