PORTLAND — From restoring damaged soils to providing delicious nourishment, to helping Veterans heal from the trauma of war, mushrooms offer countless solutions to problems the world faces today. Mycologists, foragers, chefs, artists, doctors/healers, herbalists, veterans, activists, musicians/performers, and others from across Maine and beyond will gather at Saint Joseph’s College, on the shore of Sebago Lake for the fourth annual Maine Fungi Fest, where attendees will celebrate “All Things Fungi, Plant Based Healing, and Evolving Consciousness.”
Maine Fungi Fest 2025 will be held May 30 – June 1. The event will feature over sixty presenters from a wide variety of fields and backgrounds sharing their knowledge and skills, including Keynotes from Alan Rockefeller (Decoding the Forest Floor), Jaime Grant (The Genius of Polyamory), and Ryan Rich (Bwiti Traditions: Going Back to the Beginning), and so much more.

· Hands-on demonstrations including lab skills, composting with mushrooms, making herbal bitters, fabric dyeing, and paper making with mushrooms, etc.

· Family/Flow Zone including mushroom hat creation, mushroom story time, face painting, etc.
