Portland Hearts of Pine coach Bobby Murphy was named USL League One Coach of the Month for May, the league announced Wednesday.
The Hearts were undefeated in May, with a win and three draws in league matches and a 4-2 victory over USL Championship opponent Detroit City FC in the USL Jagermeister Cup. Portland’s 2-1 win over FC Naples on May 17 was its first ever in USL League One play.
