How is it that so many Americans think they are entitled to live in the richest country in the world while so many others suffer without what they need just to survive? It seems to me that the people in this country with the most still want more. It’s not “right” that they have to share with immigrants? People who are “illegals”?

What did Jesus say? “Love your neighbor.” And who is our neighbor? Everyone. In God’s eyes, no one is illegal. There are no boundaries to be seen when He looks down on the Earth.

No one deserves anything. Everything we have is just a gift given to be shared with others. We think we have worked hard for what we have and that gives us the right to do whatever we want? Many of the poorest people in the world work 10 times harder every day. Hard work does not guarantee anything. We can’t take any of it with us — everyone dies.
