OXFORD — Ernest Fitts IV and Phillip Richardson outlasted a five-person race to claim seats on the Select Board.
Fitts topped the field with 343 votes, while Richardson was close behind with 311. Their terms are for three years.
In third place was Caldwell T. Jackson with 141 votes, followed by incumbent Sharon Jackson with 111 and Scott Ward with 92. Caldwell T. Jackson is the nephew of retiring Selectman Caldwell Jackson, who served on the board for 22 years.
Sharon Jackson was seeking her third term on the board.
Husband and wife Nathan and Shauna Broyer were reelected to the Maine School Administrative District 17 board with 382 and 415 votes, respectively. They ran unopposed.
