RANGELEY — Each year the Rangeley Congregational Church supports students in our congregation who are seeking a post-secondary education. This past year the scholarship committee was made up of Marge Miller, Joann Bean and Mary Richards as chair. The committee is excited to announce RCC’s continuing support of three deserving students.

The three students include Haley Morrill, Evan Smith and Adam Crump. The church has long supported Haley through her undergraduate degree at the University of Maine at Orono and has been honored to continue that support for three years at the University of New England. Haley will be graduating this spring with a Pharmacy degree and has earned numerous awards and honors throughout her educational experience. We are so very proud of all of her successes. Evan Smith is enrolled at the University of Southern Maine where he is working on a degree in nursing. He anticipates graduating in the spring of 2026, and has maintained an impressive grade point average. Adam is also enrolled at the University of Southern Maine, and has completed his freshman year, where he is enrolled in the Cybersecurity and Networking program. Adam has shared with the committee that he had a very successful first year, also achieving and impressive grade point average.

The committee is grateful to the Congregational church family who has donated generously so that we can continue to support these promising students. We were able to award at total of $7,500 this year. We look forward to supporting students in the future.
