DEAR SUN SPOTS: As the number of folks coming to The Drop-in Center at 121 Mill St. in Auburn increases and new people grace us with their presence, we have a need for more Saturday volunteers.

If you’re interested in joining us in this work, please message me or contact Kitsie at [email protected]. At the Drop-in Center, we have a supportive team of individuals and offer training for all our volunteers. If you have a few hours a month to share, join us. It is good work!

We also have a need for lightweight summer blankets and foil emergency blankets. — Sue, no town

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I really enjoy playing word games on the computer but don’t want to end up on any bad websites where my personal information could be stolen. Can other readers please recommend some for me? I am in my 80s and want to play but am cautious. — Maryann, no town

ANSWER: I understand your concerns and am sure other Sun Spotters will reach out with information about the sites they use.

I’m an AARP member and there are quite a few games to play on their site (https://www.aarp.org/games/ ). There are quite a few games there. The New York Times has both free and paid versions of Wordle (https://www.nytimes.com/games/wordle/index.html). There is also Words with Friends  (https://wordswithfriends.com/) that is also free.

Of course, use a strong password for these sites and don’t give out any of your personal information to other players that you don’t know. Have fun!
