Roger R. Belanger

AUBURN – Roger R. Belanger, 86, of Auburn, passed away due to heart failure, June 11, 2025,, surrounded by his family. He was the son of Yvon and Adrienne (Arsenault) Belanger.

His early years were spent with many outings at the family camp on Cobbossee Lake. He loved playing golf with cousins and friends. He was proud to serve his country in the Marine Corps. Upon his return he worked construction for many years, then owned a taxi company with his brother.

Roland. In his adult life he retired as a mechanic in 2002. After retirement he drove as school bus for Hudson Bus Lines, fully retiring in 2015. Roger and Lorraine enjoyed many camping outings with family and friends then became snow birds for a few years.

Roger was predeceased by his parents and brothers Al and Roland Belanger.

He is survived by his wife Lorraine; children Linda (Dennis) Boudreau, Richard Belanger, Raymond (Susan) Belanger, Rodney Belanger, Robert (Dianna) Belanger, Roland Belanger, and Lisa (Jay) Sanborn; grandchildren Alicia (Tim) Sirois, Nicholas (Megan) Boudreau, Renee (Bill) Borrelli, Marina Belanger, Keileigh Belanger, Erica Belanger, Jaykob Sanborn, Megan Belanger; great grandchildren Scarlett and Daniel Sirois, Logan Smith, Oliver and Mia Borrelli.

A Celebration of life will be held at Gipper’s, 120 Center St., Auburn, on Sunday June 29, 4 to 6 pm.
