AUBURN — Nutty Netties Cafe’s second location in Auburn is now open at 34 Court St., next door to city hall. It’s been a long time coming and 14 months of slow and steady construction. The retail portion of the large space opened in October 2024.

The historic building has been host to many businesses over the years, most recently the 1800 Club. It’s a prime location at the corner of Main and Court streets and was named the Goff Block, or Goff’s Corners, and dates back to 1822.

Deliberate and slow are popular themes for owners Aaron and Annette Buccheri, who opened the first Nutty Netties in the Auburn Mall in 2022. They have developed a solid following offering breakfast and lunch, baked goods, and handmade chocolates and candy.

What sets the Court Street location apart starts with the launch of dinner Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It will also have a full-service bar that Aaron Buccheri hopes to have licensed come September. They also plan to host events and live music. Brunch service is also planned.

The Buccheris are teaming up with next-door neighbor Craft Brew Underground and the Great Falls Comedy Club to bring live acoustic music and shows, and they plan to put on events such as dinner and a movie, which will be family-friendly.

The café seats 66 and the retail shop is attached through a corridor.

The breakfast and lunch menu is the same at both locations with gluten-free options and there is also a dedicated kids menu. Dinners will be a rotation of fresh, seasonal specials, leaning on the family’s Italian heritage.

The Auburn Mall location will remain open seven days a week and will continue to pump out baked goods and chocolates for both locations.

Business hours at 34 Court St. are Sunday-Wednesday 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Auburn Mall location is also open every day at 9 a.m.
