NORWAY — The Friends of Norway Memorial Library will hold their used book sale on Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Norway Memorial Library, located at 258 Main Street, Norway. This event coincides with Norway Downtown’s Main Street Day.
Funds raised from the sale will support library programs, services, and both audio and video collections in digital and physical formats.
Shoppers will find a variety of fiction and nonfiction books for all ages. The sale will feature Maine-related titles and children’s books. We have received donations of used books since our sale on June 14; new stock has been added.
Please note that the last day to donate books is Friday, July 11. We accept gently used books that are boxed and in good condition. Acceptable items include hardcover and paperback fiction and nonfiction for both adults and children. However, we cannot accept audio or video materials, textbooks, magazines, book club editions, Reader’s Digest condensed versions, or book sets (such as Time-Life). Books in poor condition (missing covers, torn pages, dusty, or musty) will not be accepted.
