
Diane Mann
LEWISTON – Diane Lecky Mann, born March 15, 1944, passed away to be with her lord and savior on April 24, 2025.
Diane was the daughter of Mary Erb Leckey, of Lunenburg, N.S., and Wirt S. Leckey of Mexico, Maine. She graduated from Mexico High School in 1962 and the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Portland in 1965.
She worked many years as a RN in several different areas of nursing from the hospital environment to the school nurse SAD # 21 in Dixfield, local nursing homes as well as the Tri-County Health, as a nurse consultant. She also spent time working for Ludden Memorial Library, which she considered her hobby that paid.
She was a member of the Mexico Mothers Club for 40 years, until it dissolved as its members passed away. She was a member of ”RAPPA” for several years, the Scroggin Cloggers, Line dancing with Carol Thibeault, adult tap dance with Debbie Murphy, and sang in choirs in the area. Diane married William Kent Mann on Feb. 14, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband, one daughter Darcy Diane McKellick, three stepchildren and several grandchildren.
At her request, there will be a graveside service, Wednesday, July 23, at the Farrington Mortin Cemetery Rt. 2 , Mexico at 2 p.m.
