Cheap Trick will headline the annual Rangeley Health and Wellness benefit concert on Sunday, July 27.

RANGELEY — Rock ‘n’ roll icons Cheap Trick will electrify the mountains of Maine with an outdoor performance Sunday, July 27, at Rangeley Health and Wellness, 25 Dallas Hill Road.

High-energy and classic rock nostalgia combine with the breathtaking backdrop of Rangeley Lake for an ultimate night of music. With hits like “I Want You to Want Me,” “Dream Police,” and “Surrender,” the legendary band continues to inspire and entertain audiences with their signature blend of hard rock and power-pop sensibilities.

Gates for this all-weather event open at 3 p.m. Show starts at 5 p.m.

Opening for Cheap Trick is Everybody Knows, Maine’s premier Neil Young tribute band. In its debut Rangeley appearance, Everybody Knows will perform precise renditions of songs across Young’s discography. Led by Jeff Beam, the band features an impressive seven-member lineup of legendary New England musicians, including Rangeley’s own Nancy Bessey.

The concert offers general admission with lawn seating or an exclusive VIP Package. VIP ticket holder benefits include premium parking, fast lane entry gate, preconcert reception with a buffet and full bar, stage front seating and a designated VIP beverage tent. HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Free parking will be available at the Rangeley Town Cove Park and Depot Street parking lots. Shuttle buses will begin running from these locations to the venue at 2:30 p.m. and will continue as needed. Shuttling services will resume prior to the end of the show.

Parking on Route 4, near Rangeley Family Density, 2252 Main St., will be available for $10. Shuttle buses will pick people up from this lot as well, according to Ann Rogers, Rangeley Health and Wellness concert committee chairperson. This parking lot is operated by Rangeley Lakes Regional School students. Money raised will benefit Rangeley Health and Wellness and the school’s various athletic teams and groups.

Parking will also be available closer to the venue on Dallas Hill Road for $20. Handicap parking will be available in the VIP ticket holder’s lot at Rangeley Family Medicine, 42 Dallas Hill Road. There is a $20 fee for handicap parking, Rogers said.

Food vendors will offer everything from Belgian waffles, wood-fired pizza, barbecue and burgers. Sodas, bottled water and popcorn will also be available.

Beer, wine and nonalcoholic options will be available at the beer and wine garden.

Most vendors will accept cash only at this event, including the beer and wine garden.

Chairs and blankets are welcome. Coolers, umbrellas, outside food and beverages, and pets and oversize bags are not permitted inside the venue.
