I have been watching this whole Trump era unfold and I finally have to speak up about one thing in particular that both sides are mistaken about. The media, both right- and left-leaning, and the voting citizens, on both sides, have made this era of politics about Trump and his “decisions.” This is giving way too much for credit to President Trump.

It is obvious to anyone who takes the time to look that Donald Trump has no idea what he is doing. He is using his money and the status he is used to and he’s just winging it. Both sides are always talking about his plans and his decisions and his policies. We need to stop it.

Who honestly thinks that Donald Trump has been sitting in a room somewhere pondering global politics, macroeconomics and relationships between nations, just waiting for his chance to change the world? Do we really think he’s been working on solutions to illegal immigration, health care, education, Social Security and the national debt? These actions he is taking as president are no more his ideas than they are mine.

So, can we please recognize that the emperor has no clothes on. He has no relevant experience, training or education for this job and, if there was an interview process, he wouldn’t even have gotten a call. We need to stop giving him credit when he doesn’t deserve it and stop attacking him for “his ideas,” as it is a waste of everyone’s time.
