Paul Arthur Joseph Blouin

LEWISTON – Paul passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Maine Medical Center with his family by his side. We are very grateful that we were able to be there with him.

He passed unexpectedly from a staph infection, which led to sepsis, and not an overdose of drugs. Paul battled addiction most of his adult life, but he had won this battle and was doing amazing things, no longer living on the streets. He in fact, was blessed to be living with his daughter and three grandchildren.

Paul did the impossible and overcame his demons; we prayed so long for this day to come. But unfortunately, the time was short-lived, this was the life he truly prayed for and was all he ever wanted. Life is not guaranteed so if you think you can’t, remember that you can. Start building our new home.

Paul enjoyed rocking out to music, fishing, camping, but most of all spending time with family. Rock on big brother, catch them fish, and light that fire. Remember that we love you.

Paul will be missed by his father, Arthur Blouin; siblings Pauline, and Robert Blouin; daughter, Sasha Blouin; grandchildren Jadalyn, Landon, Dawson Fraser; and many nieces and nephews.

He will be joining in Heaven with his mother, Nancy L’Italien; his sisters Doris and Jackie.

Please join us in celebrating Paul’s life on Aug. 9. A burial will be held at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sabattus, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1327 Sabattus St., Lewiston.
