Community Day at the Paris Fire Station – Aug. 16

Save the date! On Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., head to the Paris Fire Station at 137 Western Ave. for Community Day, sponsored by the Paris Fire Prevention Program. This free, family-friendly event is packed with fun, featuring games, a bounce house, and even inflatable axe throwing. It’s a perfect way to meet neighbors, enjoy the outdoors, and show your support for local fire prevention efforts. Don’t miss this great community celebration — right here in Paris.

Kids yoga with Three Eyed Raven

Start the week with mindfulness and movement. Every Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m., kids can enjoy a free outdoor yoga session in Moore Park, led by Three Eyed Raven. These classes help children build flexibility, focus, and confidence in a fun and relaxed setting. Thanks to Pinnacle Electric and Hamilton Concrete, participation is completely free, and a healthy breakfast is included after each session. Interested in supporting or sponsoring this program? Paris Farmers Market – Fridays, through Aug. 22

Kick off your Fridays with a fresh start. From 9 a.m. to noon, Moore Park transforms into the bustling Paris Farmers Market, offering locally grown produce, baked goods, artisan items, and more. New pickleball and basketball court on Paris Hill

There’s a new way to stay active. A brand-new pickleball and basketball court has opened on scenic Paris Hill, and it’s free and open to everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned player or trying the game for the first time, it’s a great place for families and friends to gather and play. Interested in leading a beginner pickleball session? Contact Parks and Rec to help expand this exciting activity.

Family Movie Night – ‘Inside Out 2’

Wrap up Saturday, Aug. 16, with a family movie night at the Paris Fire Station. Starting at 6 p.m., join Paris Parks and Recreation and Oxford Federal Credit Union for a free screening of “Inside Out 2.” Popcorn, laughter, and great company included — no tickets required. Put on your favorite jammies and come get cozy with us!

Introducing: Fun-Packed Wednesdays

While our usual vendor fairs take a brief summer pause, we’re rolling out Fun-Packed Wednesdays — a full day of midweek fun for all ages.

Launches Wednesday, July 30:
• 10 a.m. – Tie-dye activity at Moore Park (part of the Kids Summer Series)
• 5 p.m. – Vendors and Cruzin’ Slice Food Truck at the Fire Station
• 6 p.m. – Music by DJ Peter G

Dog training – obedience through agility

Strengthen your bond with your dog in a fun, active way. HeartSong Kennel offers weekly dog training sessions every Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Paris Fire Station. The cost is $25 per class or $90 for a four-class pass.

Property revaluation – Fall 2025

For the first time since 2014, a full property revaluation will take place, beginning in September 2025, to ensure equitable taxation across the town. If you have questions, contact the Town Manager or the Assessor’s Office.
