Payton Tolle and five relievers combined on a three-hitter Saturday night, leading the Portland Sea Dogs to a 4-1 win over the Altoona Curve in an Eastern League game at Hadlock Field.
Tolle started and went four innings, giving up one unearned run on one hit and two walks while striking out six. Cooper Adams was credited with the win after following Tolle with two scoreless innings.
The Sea Dogs scored all four runs in the third inning. Max Ferguson tied the game at 1-1 with an RBI single, Allan Castro followed with a two-run single, and Miguel Blais added an RBI single – his first Double-A hit.
