Dorothea “Dot” (Gove) Labrie
LEWISTON – Dorothea “Dot” (Gove) Labrie, 93, of Lewiston passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at the Andwell Hospice House in Auburn surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Minot on Sept. 3, 1931, to Arthur and Alzada Gove. She married her soul mate Maurice Labrie and had four sons and one daughter.
Dot enjoyed antiquing, collecting dolls, yard sales and making Christmas chocolates. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially Linda, Larry, and Sheila. Additionally, Dot worked in the public school system for many years and volunteered at the food bank in Auburn. She will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, ability to make friends wherever she went, sense of humor and spirit of adventure.
Preceding her in death was her husband Maurice, parents, and siblings.
Dot is survived and cherished by sons Thom, Mike and wife Linda, Denis, David and wife Lori, daughter Linda Labrie and husband Andre, grandchildren Christie, Dorothea, Brennan, Bowden, Jessica, Julia, great-grandchildren Caleb, Penelope and countless other family and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Funeral Alternatives. Funeralalternatives.net.
