The Portland Sea Dogs scored in the top of the ninth to tie the game, but gave up the winning run on an error in the bottom of the inning and lost to the Harrisburg Senators, 5-4, in an Eastern League game on Thursday in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Ahbram Liendo singled to drive in Brooks Bannon in the top of the ninth, then stole second to put runners on second and third with one out. Portland failed to take advantage when Max Ferguson lined out and Marvin Alcantara grounded out to end the threat.

Joe Naranjo walked with one out in the bottom of the ninth. He was thrown out at third on a single by Maxwell Romero Jr., but Romero was able to score on a throwing error by Liendo.

Harrisburg took a 4-0 lead in the third inning on an RBI double by Seaver King, a two-run single by Kevin Made and an RBI triple by Carlos De La Cruz.

John Holobertz made his first Double-A start for the Sea Dogs, allowing four runs on seven hits, while striking out four and walking none.
