I am pleased to see that Jeff Harmon has chosen to run again for the mayor of Auburn. He has brought dignity and purpose to city government. Meetings are no longer inflammatory and full of conflict. Although people have many differences, discussions run smoothly and things are getting done.
Jeff has led the City Council to an appropriate approach to development and water quality issues. Development is still occurring, but it is done thoughtfully with consideration of multiple people’s needs. Mayor Harmon, the City Council and the School Committee worked hard to develop a 2026 budget that would pass and meet the city’s needs without a lot of drama. City employees and elected officials have listened to people and are doing their best.
Once again, I am proud to be a resident of Auburn. Please join me in an effort to reelect Jeff Harmon in November.
