Summer Series
The Town of Paris would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all the vendors, performers, and community members who made this year’s Summer Series such a success! From lively kids’ activities every Wednesday morning in Moore Park to evenings filled with live music and delicious food at the Paris Fire Station, this summer was bursting with community spirit. Your energy, participation, and support turned each week into a celebration of togetherness and joy. We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us—whether you set up a booth, took the stage, or simply came out to enjoy the fun. This was truly a summer we won’t soon forget.

Family Movie Night – Coco
Wrap up Saturday, October 18 with a cozy family movie night at the Paris Fire Station!
Join Paris Parks & Recreation and Oxford Federal Credit Union at 6:00 p.m. for a free screening of Coco. Bring your blankets, wear your pajamas, and settle in for an evening of popcorn, themed snacks, laughter, and family fun. No tickets needed—just show up and enjoy the magic!
Kids Yoga
Start your week with calm and creativity. Each Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., kids are invited to Moore Park for a free outdoor yoga class led by Three Eyed Raven. These sessions promote flexibility, mindfulness, and confidence in a fun environment. Paris Farmers Market – Fridays Through Fall
Start your Friday mornings at Moore Park, where local vendors gather from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to offer fresh vegetables, homemade goods, baked treats, and more. The Town of Paris welcomes vendors to set up each Friday morning through the fall—free of charge—to share their creations with the community. Whether you’re shopping for fresh flavors or looking to sell your own products, Moore Park is the place to be. For vendor details, contact Parks and Rec or visit the Town Office.
Public Suppers
The 2025–2026 schedule for the Paris Fire Department Auxiliary Suppers is here! All suppers are held at the Paris Fire Station at 137 Western Ave. The season kicks off October 4 with a classic Corned Beef and Cabbage meal. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; supper is served at 5:00 p.m. Pricing: Free for children under 3, $5 for ages 4–12, and $10 for adults. Dog Training
Strengthen your connection with your dog while learning new skills. HeartSong Kennel offers dog training classes every Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Paris Fire Station.
Cost: $25 per session or $90 for a four-class pass.
Town Government
Help shape the future of Paris by participating in local government.
• Select Board Meeting: Monday, August 25 at 6:00 p.m.
• Planning Board Meeting: Wednesday, August 27 at 6:00 p.m.
Both meetings take place at the Paris Town Office.

After 20 years of unmatched dedication, the Town of Paris is saying goodbye to our Town Clerk, Elizabeth Knox. Her hard work, knowledge, and commitment to our community leave a lasting legacy that will be felt for years to come. We extend our sincere gratitude for her many contributions and wish her every success and happiness in the future.
The Town of Paris is currently seeking an experienced Town Clerk for a 24-hour-per-week position, as well as a full-time Deputy Clerk. Full job descriptions and application instructions are available at parismaine.org.

Property Reval – Fall 2025
For the first time since 2014, Paris will undergo a full property revaluation beginning in September 2025 to ensure fair and equitable taxation. A schedule has been posted publicly at the Paris Town Office if you’d like to see roughly when your property will be considered. For questions, contact the Town Manager or Assessor’s Office.
