A Lisbon man who pleaded guilty to stealing U.S. Border Patrol equipment from the site of a quadruple homicide was sentenced to three years in federal prison, according to court records.
Arden Shaw was one of three people charged in the theft from the Bowdoin home where four adults were fatally shot in 2023. A Border Patrol agent, who is the son of two of the victims, was living in the home after the murders when he reported the robbery in June 2023.
Shaw was sentenced in U.S. District Court on Tuesday to 37 months in federal prison for stealing government property, including a gun, body armor, badges and a portable radio. Michael Hall and Jeanne Doughty, who were also charged in the theft, have also pleaded guilty.
Patti and Robert Eger were hosting their longtime friends, Cynthia and David Eaton, at their house in Bowdoin when they were all killed by Joseph Eaton.
Joseph Eaton, Cynthia and David Eaton’s son, pleaded guilty to the murders and is serving a life sentence in prison.
