OXFORD — Oxford native MacKenzie Dargie is one of five students nationally recognized as Graduate of the Year by Penn Foster Group, a leading provider of online education. She was selected for her academic excellence, character, and perseverance.

After undergoing two brain surgeries as a child, MacKenzie found comfort in photography and its ability to capture meaningful moments. At the New York Institute of Photography, MacKenzie turned this passion into a career – developing her skills while running her own photography business.

MacKenzie is available to speak about this achievement, her experience with online education, and overcoming challenges. She will be recognized at Penn Foster Group’s in-person graduation ceremony in Atlanta on August 16 alongside 1,600 of her peers.
