Get ready to hit the road for one of Western Maine’s most scenic and creative fall outings! The 5th Annual Mahoosuc Art & Agriculture Tour, a family-friendly, self-guided tour of working farms and local artists, returns on Sunday, Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Attendees will enjoy barnyard fun with baby animals, fresh-picked local produce, wood-fired pizza, gluten-free baked goods, and much more. At each stop, local artists will showcase their work, from chainsaw carvings to pottery, fiber art, and handcrafted jewelry. Many are offering live demonstrations and hands-on activities.
“This event is a celebration of the creative energy that thrives in Western Maine’s farms and fields,” says Kate Webb, program director for Bethel Area Arts & Music (BAa.m.). “It’s a chance to connect with the land, meet local makers, and enjoy the best of rural Maine in early fall.” The Mahoosuc Art & Agriculture Tour is a collaborative community initiative celebrating the intersection of creativity, sustainability, and rural heritage in Western Maine. Organized by Bethel Area Arts & Music, The Local Food Connection, and the Rotary Club of Bethel, Maine.
