Addison Beaudoin, Monmouth Academy senior: Beaudoin finished in fifth in Class C girls last year (108) and 19th overall at the MVC shootout.

Kyle Bryant, Monmouth Academy senior: Bryant helped the Mustangs to an 11th-place finish in the Class C state championship, shooting a 92. He carded a 93 at the MVC shootout.

Evan Hamilton, Spruce Mountain senior: Hamilton is the lone returning player for the Phoenix among their top six from last season. He shot 98 at the Class C state championship.

Cole Levesque, Edward Little senior: Levesque helped the Red Eddies win the KVAC Class A shootout a year ago with a 44 in the 9-hole tournament. He shot a 94 in the Class A state championship.

Alex Mains, Poland senior: Mains shot 84 to finish eighth at the Class B state championship last season. He has continued to play well in the preseason, according to coach Matt Steinbeck.

Drew Mertzel, Winthrop freshman: Mertzel showed his talent at the Charlie’s Maine Open, recording rounds of 80, 78 and 81. He finished second in the 14-15-year-old flight at the Maine Junior Championship in July with a two-day total of 160.

Thomas Pratt, Leavitt senior: Coach Harry Haylock expects Pratt to be a leader for the Hornets. Pratt will look to improve on his 91 at last year’s Class B state championship.

Will Stanford, Poland senior: Stanford tied for 27th at the Class B state championship last year, shooting 90.

Henry Stone, Gray-New Gloucester junior: Stone was the Patriots’ best finisher at the Class B state championship last season with a 90. At the Maine Junior Championships in July, he finished fourth with a two-day total of 163.

Carson Veilleux, Edward Little junior: Veilleux will be one of the top players for the Red Eddies after he tied for 11th with an 81 at the Class A state championship last fall.
